I have worked in the financial services industry since 2006. I began my career as a Financial Advisor in 2012 and have been loving it ever since. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional (CFP®). I also hold my Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation® (CDFA®). I love working with individuals in setting, planning and executing plans to achieve their financial goals.
In 2016 the biggest change in my life up to that point began. That was when my divorce started. My divorce was incredibly disruptive to the life I was building up to that point but it was also a tremendous learning experience.
I was floundering to find my bearings socially, mentally, emotionally and financially. Even with my background and experience in all things financial, there were so many financial aspects of divorce that I was unaware of. It was a scramble to feel like I was prepared and I was constantly second-guessing my decisions. Although the divorce process for me was painful and frustrating at times, because of the lessons I learned and improvements I made in myself, I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything.
Fast-forward to today. I recovered from my divorce in all ways that matter. Financially, emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. I have five wonderful children. I am remarried to a wonderful woman. My journey to find my wife, after being thrust into the single scene, opened my eyes to the lack of knowledge, help and support that is available to individuals going through divorce or recovering from divorce. My passion as a CDFA® and CFP® professional is to educate and assist people in making financial decisions that affect their life now and far into the future.
